The Circle of Excellence Award is the recognition given to honor the group of individuals who lead in providing the ultimate mobility customer experience, continuously elevating our business and strategic goals, futureproofing, achieving digital and technology excellence, and building an I-CARE centric ecosystem.
In MPTC, we always strive for Excellence – Excellence is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good. It is often associated with high standards, superior performance, and exceptional results.
When you set high standards for yourself, you are more likely to achieve your goals. You are also more likely to be satisfied with your work and your life. Additionally, excellence can lead to recognition, respect, and opportunities.
Of course, striving for excellence is not always easy. It requires hard work, dedication, and perseverance. But it is worth it in the end. When you achieve excellence, you know that you have done your best and that you have made a difference.

The highest distinction award for Circle of Excellence is given to recognize this year’s MPTC employee with the highest final score. Our awardee unselfishly shared his God-given talent and has demonstrated self-polished knowledge with consistent passion with his work. He does monthly drone and site inspections, creating working technical document for project proposals and implementation, and studies and reviews detailed engineering design, with thorough coordination with various government stakeholders and agencies for the project.
His recent engineering render has become beneficial not only in publications and social media, but in technical studies that helped the company save itself from outsourcing special services. This masterpiece motivated not only stakeholders but the whole company and its workforce. He is one of the prime movers in leading the conceptualization and primary design coordination and improvements of the newest MPTC pride, Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway.
Nichol Caballero, TDE Specialist from CCLEC won the highest distinction. During his speech he mentioned how humbling it is for him to accept the award and grateful to his mentors and colleagues. Nichol also said during the awards night that the award wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the opportunities and challenges given to him. “This award may serve as a physical reminder how MPTC acknowledges my contribution to the company, but the greatest award will always be knowing that I am able to contribute to the growth of the Philippine infrastructure helping to connect lives through our impressive nation-building projects,” said Nichol.
