“For it is in giving that we receive.”

St. Francis of Assisi

Part of Metro Pacific Tollways South’s Corporate Social Responsibility project is Medical Mission. It is designed to serve the people in depressed communities who cannot afford to attend medical consultations and to attend to their medical needs. This project is in line with our ways of giving back to the community through providing medical services to less privileged individuals.

For this year, the company decided to donate protective items and vitamins to its partner Local Government Units to abide by the set safety protocols. A total of P18,280.00 worth of health items were received by the LGUs of Paranaque, Pasay, Taguig, Las Pinas City, Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Santa Rosa, Binan, Silang, Dasmarinas, and General Trias on May 12, 2021.

The following are the items donated for each LGU:

A total of almost 220,000 pesos have been given to help these LGUs. The LGUs expressed their gratitude for the company’s initiative to help their constituents. It is with a hopeful heart that all of them are rooting for this pandemic to end.

An act of kindness when shared becomes noble. Not only will it give a leap of hope to others but also gives patience and persistence that soon this world’s going to heal, and everyone can go back to the time of their lives when they can work, play, and fully enjoy their lives. For now, safety and health must be the priority and these little contributions can help in making people safe.
