Just like the previous years, MPT South implemented the “Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko (SMSK) program” to reinforce 24/7 motorist assistance for motorists traversing its toll road networks: Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), Cavitex C-5 Link Flyover, and the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) last Holy Week.
As part of the SMSK program, CAVITEX Customer Services Centers (Northbound and Southbound), C-5 Link Flyover Customer Service Station (Westbound), and CALAX Greenfield (Mamplasan) Customer Service Stations were made available 24/7 to address motorists’ concerns, and for Easytrip RFID installation and reloading services. Emergency medical services (EMS) were also on standby 24/7during the said period. Aside from that, free towing services were offered to Class 1 vehicles (to nearest exit) from March 31, 6:00 AM to April 5, 6 AM.
With the NCR+ bubble (NCR, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, and Rizal) placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine on March 29, aside from the aforementioned services during Holy Week, MPT South also provided updates on checkpoint placements, protocols, and requirements to its motorists via its social media pages. It also continues to remind its motorists to practice minimum health and safety protocols such as wearing face masks to avoid COVID-19 transmission.
