Brgy. Samala Marquez, situated in Kawit, Cavite was recently ravaged by a fire incident. More than 1,000 families were affected. Metro Pacific Tollways South through its Communication and Stakeholder Management team spearheaded the relief operation to the said community.
With the initiative to provide immediate assistance to the affected community and its constituents, the Stakeholder Management team brought on March 22, 2021, 200 packs of grocery items. In coordination with Kawit Mayor Angelo Emilio Aguinaldo, the relief packs were handed over to the barangay with the assistance of the Kawit Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office and the Local Youth Development Office.
Mr. Michael Monares, Brgy. Secretary of Samala Marquez expresses his gratitude to the company’s ingenuity in providing them relief, “Maraming Salamat po sa inyong kompanya sa pagtulong po sa aming mga ka-barangay. Ito po ay napakalaking tulong.”
