Message from MPTC President and CEO Rodrigo E. Franco

Season’s Greetings to each one of you. As we near the end of 2021, let us reflect on how we beat the challenges, and achieved success, in our business and personal lives. These were precious wins that had been accomplished despite a tough pandemic environment.

I hope you celebrated our wins, no matter how big or small, with your teams and family.  Celebration fuels everyone’s motivation and determination to continue doing well and doing good.

Our organization is fortunate to have dedicated employees. You have kept the motorists of CAVITEX and CALAX out of harm’s way.  You allowed them to enjoy convenient passage, in line with our mission to provide customers the ultimate mobility experience. Your hard work and commitment all year long and through the years kept us moving, dynamic, and vitalized. You continued to collaborate with one another to deliver tasks and create a healthy environment for all of us.

The months to come will be challenging for all of us as we hopefully come out of the pandemic although new virus variants continue to threaten the resolution of the health crisis. Priority will be given to the rebuilding and expansion of our business.  We will take on several projects and programs to future-proof our business.  The upcoming national elections will bring new government leaders and policies that will significantly affect the way we pursue our business. We must be resolute in keeping our focus on improvements, being agile and continuing the health and safety practices.  Let us be at the top of our game.

As we celebrate Christmas, sharing laughter and joy with our families and friends, let us also find some quiet – a quiet time and a quiet place– to give thanks for the all the grace that have come to us.

Enjoy your well-deserved downtime and may we all return refreshed and invigorated to face the new year.

I wish you all happiness, peace and health. Have a Merry and Safe Christmas and together let’s have an excellent 2022!
