Last Piece of the Puzzle in Weight Loss

According to Dr. Jason Fung, author of Obesity Code, a person can lose weight and successfully maintain that loss based on two key changes or recommendations. The first is to choose whole, unprocessed foods that trigger only a small or minimal insulin response. That is, there are five basic steps in weight loss:

  1. Reduce your consumption of added sugars.
  2. Reduce your consumption of refined grains.
  3. Moderate your protein intake.
  4. Increase your consumption of natural fats.
  5. Increase your consumption of fiber and vinegar.

The second is incorporating short periods of intermittent fasting on a regular basis.

A classic example of an employee who uses intermittent fasting for four to five years now is Ms. Akiko Clarysse C. Malonzo , Non-Toll Supervisor under Finance.

  • No rice for 4-5 years
  • No colored drinks, just water.

Cardio exercises at least one hour, twice a week.
