Kwentong Barangay – A.K.O. Donation Drive April 2023

Even one of the first-class municipalities in Cavite is a non-exception as we strive to connect with every community and help even those obscure ones. As we conduct our A.K.O. Donation Drive, also known as “Alagang Kapwa Oras-oras”, a monthly donation act initiated by our company, MPT South Corporation which is being led by the Communication and Stakeholder Management (CSM) Division, together with different partner departments every month that aims to help more to the disadvantaged people by contributing to the public.

This March, in line with the celebration of Fire Prevention Month, MPT South held the A.K.O. Donation Drive last April 14, 2023 (Friday) in Brgy. Pulvorista. A barangay in the municipality of Kawit in the province of https://www.philatlas.com/luzon/r04a/cavite.htmlCavite with the help of their very accommodating Barangay Captain, Hon. Noriel Gonzaga. As we are very grateful for the support that we received from their officials, this event cannot be completed without the support of the whole Project Management Department (PMD) led by Engr. Marc Arvin Macaspac, the Project Manager of CALAX and Engr. Edward Castro, the Project Manager of C5.

From food, clothing, shoes to essentials, these acts of kindness were all donated by the employees of MPT South with the help of the following respective volunteers from PMD (Ms. Jela Abiah Mae Obmerga, Mr. Michael Vicente Jr., Mr. Rhod Jay Fesalbon, and Ms. Charmay Aguilar).

Here in MPT South, giving back goodness to the people is one of our priorities, as we always aspire to be a responsible corporate citizen and a good neighbor to our communities. We aim to be able to respond as quickly as we can to give relief to the victims of sudden unfortunate events. As we believe that this will not only benefit the communities, but it also helps retain the employees to align with the company values, and to promote the employee camaraderie and rapport which can affect their teamwork and environment and to show how much the company is very grateful for.
