MARVIN M. SENON, Vertical Asset Management

The MPT South version of Coach Yeng Giao is Marvin M. Senon who is the Assistant Manager of Asset Management Department. He handles and oversees the preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance of buildings and facilities.

Originally from Tacloban, Leyte. His biggest win is finishing his studies. He is a Licensed Civil Engineer by profession and studied at Eastern Visayas State University.

Almost 20 years working in various construction industries such as medium and high rise buildings, land development projects including housing projects and etc. He never expected in his career working in the facilities maintenance of a Toll Road industry. “Construction is very different from maintaining a Toll Road. It is a good experience, challenging, and enjoyable.”

When asked, How did he start at MPTsouth? “My previous officemate referred me to MPT South. She invited me to apply for the vacant position as an Engineer. Luckily, I passed the interview and the rest is history. I am interested in Toll Road because of the new experience that it gives me. Never in my career have I handled infrastructure projects like Toll Roads.”

For Marvin, what is giving him inspiration, “Sa ngayon ang aking pamilya ang aking inspirasyon. Nagsisikap ako ngayon para maibigay sa kanila ang dapat nilang matamasa.” And the legacy he can give to his children, “Ang palagi kong sinasabi sa kanila na mag aral sila ng mabuti dahil yan lang ang kaya kong maibibigay sa kanila. Wala akong mapapamana na ari arian sa kanila.”

An asset to MPT South, Coach Marvin, is your ever-reliable go-to guy.
