JEAN CHRISTY F. ROBLES, Office of the President

One of our youngest Managers from the Project Development and Compliance Reporting (PDCR) department is also know as a “ the beauty and brain of the South.” Jean Christy F. Robles, a proud Cebuano and Davaoeno, loves playing golf, reading, solving brain teaser puzzles, building Legos, watching and playing the piano. She believes in Nelson Mandela’s quote that “We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right.”

Jean, graduated Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and worked with a retail company, an audit firm, and a BPO.

“Funny story because years back, I used an expressway and passed through a raveled pavement. Una kong naisip dapat ayusin agad yun kasi baka magkaroon ng sakuna. After a week or two, I passed by again and it has been fixed. In my mind, “ang galing naman ng company na nagma-manage nito”, and I remembered asking myself “anong Company kaya?” But I forgot to research it. A year later, my question has been answered by a job offer from the Company that repaired the pavement along the expressway (CAVITEX). My customer experience made me realize that this is a good company and I want to be a part of it. I also believe in MPT South’s Mission, Vision, and Values. I can live my purpose here.” says Jean.

She leads the PDCR Team whose main role is to help and collaborate. They monitor project delivery and ensure that all different work unit activities lead to a common target (alignment), and teams communicate and work together (collaboration). They are preparing for the implementation of the Project Portfolio Management System (PPMS) which shall improve our alignment and collaboration. This will help maximize the realization of business value, first in MPT South, then eventually across the Tollways organization.

Beyond all of Jean’s achievements in life, big wins or small, she never forgets to give back to her parents and celebrate it with them. For her, “Time should not be wasted by waiting for the right time. Because the right time is now. And now, even though it is a small step to achieving my bigger plans, is better than not doing anything at all.”
