Effective Business and Presentation Skills Workshop

Learning never stops at MPT South.

MPTSouth, together with the Talent Development partners, continues to prioritize learning and development as they conducted a whole day training on Effective Business Writing on February 15^th, 2023 and 2-day workshop on Effective Presentation Skills last March 6 & 7, 2023. Both of these events were held at the MPT South Learning Hub.

Being part of a professional setting requires strong writing skills as most of the day-to-day tasks include email correspondence within the business and external stakeholders. The mentioned training was attended by 18 employees selected from different departments. Participants were able to pick up the essentials and tips on how to be effective in business writing and most importantly they were able practice their skills throughout the workshop.

On the other hand, another set of attendees from different departments as well joined the Effective Presentation Skills workshop. Like the Business Writing, this was also facilitated by Gerry Espiritu—Talent Development Manager. Day 1 of the training focused mainly on heavy discussion, while participants had a nerve-racking Day 2. Each participant was given a 15-minute limit to deliver in front of all the other participants their presentation.
