Eat Healthy this 2021!

From Pre-Christmas to New Year, it is no doubt that the past weeks have been a feast for all of us. It is the season wherein our appetite is bigger than our norm. Since a new year has begun, I’m sure most of us are thinking of ways on how to shed those few pounds we gained. Here are some simple and easy ways you can try:

1. Caesar Salad

Ingredients:

1 head romaine lettuce hearts

3 pcs hard-boiled egg, quartered

1 tbsp bacon, fried and chopped

1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated

1/4 cup croutons

2. Classic Coleslaw

Ingredients:

1 mayonnaise

4 tbsps lemon juice

3 tbsp sugar

to taste salt and pepper

5 cup red and green cabbage, shredded

1 cup carrots, shredded

1/4 cup onion, shredded

1/2 cup green bell pepper, sliced (optional)

3. Waldorf Salad

Ingredients:

6 Tbsp mayonnaise (or plain yogurt)

1 Tbsp lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

2 sweet apples, cored and chopped

1 cup red seedless grapes, sliced in half (or 1/4 cup of raisins)

1 cup celery, thinly sliced

1 cup chopped, slightly toasted walnuts
