by Heinz R. Orais and Mhanny S. Agusto, JANUARY 2022

A new digital platform is currently being tested by Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) that will cater to the motorists’ travel and mobility needs – the DriveHub App, your Tavel Companion App.

DriveHub App is an innovative tool that will further reinforce the vision of MPTC to provide the ultimate mobility experience, developed by the Technology Group of MPTC and MPT Mobility, and with the support of the MPTC Business Units.

DriveHub App positions itself as the travel companion app as it promises to provide valuable information, features, and services to our customers as they journey through NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, CALAX, and soon CCLEX.

Currently, the DriveHub App is undergoing its Beta Testing phase to kick off its introduction to a specific target audience. During this phase, around 4,000 Easytrip App Users and 1,000 Non-Easytrip App Users are free to explore the features of the app and are encouraged to provide feedback to the developers to further improve this innovation before launching to the public. Aside from having the first dibs to this new platform, they would also get incentives such as complimentary gifts and Easytrip RFID load.

DriveHub Features

Some of DriveHub’s Features include Easytrip RFID Balance Checking and Reloading and Toll Fee Calculator to help you plan your trips, Rest Stops page to help you discover restaurants and gas stations along the MPTC toll roads, and an easy to navigate Help Line to aid during emergency situations or if you want to raise certain issues or concerns to MPTC’s Customer Service Hotline. Here’s a short video on the beta test version of the DriveHub App:

This Beta Testing Phase will run until the end of January, and the grand launch to the public will be towards the end of Q1 of 2022. Once launched, DriveHub App is free to download via App Store for IOS user and Google Play Store Android users.
