Drayberks, a recipient of the Anvil award for the Community Development program for the year 2019 is making way for more communities and Local Government Units awareness on the importance of road safety.

For the whole month of March, Metro Pacific Tollways South through its Communication and Stakeholder Management division spearheaded the information and education campaign to the Local Government Units of Cavite Laguna Expressway also known as, CALAX.

The program is an hour and a half consisting of topics on measures to be considered when planning trips, safety while in transit, operations, expressway services, and RFID. The orientation is composed of series of videos and presentation material to make the participant learn while they enjoy. The company also partnered with the Land Transportation Office and Metro Manila Development Authority on this endeavor. They provided a short video from their organization to show their support for the program.

Earlier in February, Drayberks was presented to the Provincial Capitol of Laguna and the City of General Trias. For March, it was conducted to the LGUs of Imus, Dasmariñas, and Silang in Cavite. Also, to cities of Santa Rosa and Biñan in Laguna. Traffic Management, Public Information, and External/Community Affairs Offices were able to represent each LGU.

It is with gratitude that the support of LGUs is intact and they are very much willing to collaborate with our company with our initiative to impart knowledge on road safety. Drayberks advocacy will be launched to Cavitex and C5 Link LGUs in the coming weeks.

Together, we look forward to a safer road, environment, and communities.
