Alagang Kapwa Oras Oras Donates to a Deserving Community

by Leslie Ann C. Saulog, JULY 2021

Do you recall the launching of Alagang Kapwa Oras Oras which is otherwise known as A.K.O.?

On June 1, 2021, it was launched with the theme, “Back-to-School”. It is overwhelming to know that employees are very generous and are willing to help the communities.

The Communication and Stakeholder Management team distributed the school supplies packs to the students of its neighboring community and to the City Government of Imus on June 30, 2021.

The donations from A.K.O. are given to a deserving community in Brgy. Alapan II-B, Imus City, Cavite. With the kind hearts of Metro Pacific Tollways South’s employees, a total of 100 packs of school supplies are given to the community. 60 packs are donated to the City Government of Imus City for Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi’s support to the city scholars.

Brgy.

It is with a grateful heart that the project’s initial activity gained support from its employees and the management. Our heartfelt gratitude to the Technology Management and Operations Management Divisions who served as the lead teams for the “Back to School” donation drive, and to all employees who shared their blessings.

The program is now in its second month, and we look forward to seeing more Metro Pacific Tollways South employees imparting their blessings to the community people who are in need. Together, with the spirit of generosity and concern to other individuals, we can help in uplifting their will to survive the daily challenges everyone is facing.
