Medical services and basic health care are two of the most important necessity human beings need. And while the need for medical attention never ends, the resources of the people are limited. One notable problem in our society is that not everyone could avail themselves of these kinds of medical services, especially those people in the lower class of the community.
That is why giving attention to this kind of necessity is a good strategy when building relationships towards the community. Private businesses and corporations have the capability to acquire the resources the community needs and help the people in need through the efforts of Corporate Social Responsibility programs or CSRs.
As part of MPT South’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, the Annual Medical Mission is designed to serve the people in depressed communities who cannot afford to attend medical consultation and to address their medical needs. This project is in line with our ways of giving back to the community through providing medical services to the less privileged individuals.

In this light, MPT South decided to come up with this activity specifically for our host communities in CALAX, CAVITEX, and C5 Link. This mission originally offers General Check-up for kids and adults, Circumcision with after care medicines and touch up of feeding program for patients during events.
The Communication and Stakeholder Management (CSM) Department headed by Ms. Arlette Capistrano, kicked off their first Medical Mission for this year, last June 03, 2023 (Saturday), accommodating 215 patients in the City of Santa Rosa held in Brgy. Don Jose, Don Bosco Parish Church partnered with the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM) headed by Col. Abraham Bayan and 12 volunteers from MPT South Employees.

The event accommodated 196 Gentriseños from different Barangays which are Brgy. Pasong Camachile I & II, Brgy. Santiago and Brgy. San Francisco, in partnership with the City Health Office and Cavite Medical Society that was held in General Trias Sports Park.
MPT South concluded the Alagang MPT South Medical Mission Program 2023 at Imus City, Cavite that catered 336 Imusenyos kids on its Operation Tuli in partnership with the Office of the Congressman, Office of the Mayor, and Imus City Health Office with the presence of Cong. Adrian Jay “AJ” Advincula and Imus City Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula together with their city councilors and some of their barangay officials. With the help of volunteers from MPT South and Imus Institute Batch ’86, the program reached Imus City Cluster 8, which includes 16 barangays namely Poblacion 1A-C, Poblacion 2A-B, Poblacion 3A-B, Poblacion 4A-D, Toclong 1A-C, Toclong 2A-B.

As MPT South progresses and continues building toll roads, it should also establish and maintain its relationship to its kapitbahays giving efforts that showcase that MPT South Cares.
