As MPT South continue the monthly A.K.O. (Alagang Kapwa Oras-oras) Donation Drive, in coordination with the Silang Municipal Social Welfare and Development Head Officer, Mr. Medardo Arenas III and representative Ms. Alma Perlas, this month’s drive was held in Tibig Elementary School located at Brgy. Tibig, Silang, Cavite and was welcomed by the school principal, Mr. William Garcia and Tibig’s Barangay Councilor, Mr. Gilbert De Jesus.
In partnership with this month’s drive lead department, Operations and Maintenance Division (OMD) headed by Ms. Estelita “Ella” A. Francisco, uniting the department sections of Toll Operations, Traffic Operations and Security Operations donated and helped in the turnover of in-kind goods, foods, and road safety reminders.
During the event, MPT South even received a Certificate of Recognition for being a ‘Supportive Stakeholder’ awarded by Brgy. Tibig, Silang, Cavite to honor their appreciation.
One of the employee volunteers from Operations Management, Mr. Jericho Morales, also performed the Bayani Ka Caravan storytelling to 26 students together with their honorable teachers, claiming to help as well in spreading out the road safety reminder to other kids and hopefully for these kids to spread it to many more.
