Global warming is attributed mainly to greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide, because they trap heat that should have gone out into space. To help combat this, we’ve equipped our CALAX toll plazas with solar panels and inverters, thereby avoiding over 10,200 kg of CO2 since their installation in May 2021. As these solar panels are expected to be operational for 25 years, we plan to provide all our future toll plazas and offices with the same low-carbon energy source.
