A green highway. That’s our goal—to convert CALAX into a sustainable expressway without sacrificing road safety. And we’ve proven this can be done by integrating energy-efficient technologies, like toll plazas with rooftop solar panels and roadway lighting systems that use LED fixtures. But we don’t want to just have sustainable expressways; we want green infrastructure, too. So we are honored to receive the LEED, or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, Gold Certification for the MPT South Hub. The first MPTC building to get LEED certification, the Hub is designed to make the most out of natural daylight and ventilation. It also consumes less water through modern water-efficient fixtures, and boasts of an EV charging station for our e-vehicles. This, along with other sustainable infrastructure, is a testament to how serious our organization is in safeguarding a resilient and sustainable future for generations to come.
