Drayberks Road Safety campaign is an annual road safety program that is an orientation tackling security, safety, traffic, and toll operations to equip various driver groups and reduce vehicular accidents on the expressways. It champions the knowledge, awareness, and welfare of motorists and won the 2020 Anvil Award for Public Relations and Community Development.
The award-winning Drayberks Road Safety campaign successfully conducted its first face-to-face orientation to 30 dedicated employees of the Armed Forces of The Philippines Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM) on July 1, 2022. The goal is to share important reminders to motorists when they are travelling especially on expressways. The program was interactive as some videos and games engaged the participants as they learn.
Metro Pacific Tollways South, through its Stakeholder Management team, headed the Drayberks session. It was fulfilling to have been able to finally conduct the orientation to these uniformed personnel who are highly intelligent and engaging.
Commander Ronald U. Lim, Director of 1st AFRESCEN said, “We are very grateful to MPT South for this road safety orientation as this would help us in our daily lives. We look forward to more sessions with our other personnel.”
As part of the company’s commitment to its host communities, it holds this promising program that promotes safety and security, both for expressway motorists, and residents situated near expressways. The team is very optimistic to be able to reach more companies, organizations, and communities where they can impart knowledge on road safety.
